Cold coils are made from hot-rolled coils as raw materials and rolled at room temperature below the recrystallization temperature. They include plates and coils. Those delivered in sheets are called steel plates, also called box plates or flat plates; those delivered in rolls are called steel strips, also called coils.
Performance: Mainly using low carbon steel grades, requiring good cold bending and welding properties, as well as certain stamping properties.

Product Description
The cold rolled steel coil (plate) production process is as follows:
1. Raw material preparation: Quality checks ensure materials meet requirements. Pre-treatment heats and cleans the material to remove surface oxides.
2. Cold rolling: Multi-pass rolling mills (4-6 passes) press and stretch the steel to the required thickness and width. Surface treatments like embossing and trimming are performed.
3. Pickling: Removes oxide skin and rust to improve surface flatness and finish.
4. Oiling: Prevents oxidation, corrosion, and reduces friction during processing.
5. Cutting: Cut to required length and width for specific industry needs.
6. Packaging: Items are packaged and labeled with specifications, batch numbers, and production dates.
